How much space will it take?
A 15 kg pack will take about the same room as 4 loaves of bread in your freezer.
How long will the meat last?
The packaged meat can last for up to 1 month in the fridge or up to 12 months in the freezer. We recommend keeping out what you will use in a week and storing the rest in the freezer for convenient meals.
But I only want certain cuts…
That’s fine but it’s not what we do. We offer a bulk product so you have variety every week with your meals.
How long until I get my pack?
As soon as you order we round it up and truck it out. With hanging and aging, expect your order to be delivered within 21 days.
Sometimes we may have put something extra in the truck to the butcher, so it can be quicker.
What day and time do you deliver?
We deliver on Saturdays & Sundays, and at other times by arrangement.
Our meat is delivered straight to your kitchen table or office.
We process your order fresh from when we receive it.
This schedule is according to demand, and is subject to change.
On Thursday evening you will get an email confirming delivery time window for the weekend.
If we have a few orders in your suburb we can deliver on a Thursday night, or even on other days depending upon orders in your areas. Fresh meat is good meat so if you have to wait a day or so we think it is worth it.
Delivery is free.
Is you meat organic?
No it is not certified organic, but it is natural hormone free grass fed beef and lamb.
We feed it to our families, so it is good. See our feedback.
No feedlots, no gassing and no water bulking, just plain fresh natural meat.
How is it packed?
Highland Farm Meat is vacuum sealed (cryovac) into convenient sized packs for 2.
Our butcher cuts and packages the meat according to our very strict guidelines.
How is it delivered?
Your meat is packed by the butcher, put into a refrigerated van and then put on your kitchen table.
If you order multiple packs through your office we can arrange for it to be delivered close to knock off in cool boxes. Please contact us for corporate orders.
Why does it cost less?
Our prices are competitive because you are buying a whole, half or in the case of beef, a quarter of a steer. Buying in this way means great savings for your household budget.
